Fall in the SW allows for cooling temps and therefore the ramping up socializing after heat of summer. So I wanted to get this exhibition to you and on your calendar before your dance card gets full!
My pal and fellow artist Alexandra Queen and I have been dreaming up the concept of an art exhibition IN A FLOWER SHOPPE. When we approached Akiko at Bloom Maven in the Monier building here in Tucson and she agreed to indulge our dreams we are over the moon.
Alexandra and I will be collaborating on the sentient show titled “Flower Temple” for a very limited time November 14-16 ONLY with a special party on Friday, November 14th, 6-9pm.
“Flower Temple” is a site-specific installation featuring ceramics, silks, paintings, fresh flowers, faux flowers…that aims to tickle your fancy and indulge your senses.

Recently I created a painting for donated to the Tucson Medical Center’s Healing Arts Program. This donation was so special for me to be able to do because having lived with and coped through lung issues since childhood I really understand the value of art in a medical setting.
